Aim High Believe, Fly High Achieve

Our topic is now 'Superheroes'. On Monday we launched this topic with a whole school dress up day! The children came into school in fantastic outfits and took part in a fashion show where they shared their superpower with the class. We have learnt a new 'Groovy Groover's' dance too. In our maths work we have been using superheroes to help us to solve subtraction number problems and recorded using number lines. In our Literacy work we have been creating superhero passports and have read the story 'Supertato'. Next week we are planning to use our superpowers to save Bertie bear in an emergency rescue mission. We will also be reading the story 'The Evil Pea Rules' and writing story endings. In maths we will be measuring fruit using different apparatus and begin to explore 'difference'.
