This week we will be focusing on reading and spelling CCVC words. See if an adult can say the words to you and then have a go at robot talking and segmenting them for writing. Remember to listen carefully and see if you can identify all 4 sounds. Sample words: spot, step, stop, skip, trip, plan, from, frog, twin, swim.
We will also be working on reading the tricky words: have, like, some, come and spelling the tricky words: was, you. We have attached some sentences below for reading to reinforce this. Don't forget to put a line under the digraphs and trigraphs, circle the tricky words and add the sound buttons before reading.
