Hi Doves,

We hope that you have had a lovely half term. Did you manage to complete the secret mission over half term? 

Did you eat any pancakes? What was your favourite topping? Yummy 

This week we are going to continue our work on 'Dinosaurs'. We think this is a topic that you are enjoying and we have enjoyed seeing all of your own dinosaur collections and the lovely work that you have sent in so far.

This week is a short week, on Monday it is an inset day, as we have parent consultations. We have done our usual planning grid, but don't worry if you do not manage to complete all of the tasks, it is not a problem. It would be great if you could prioritise the focused tasks for Literacy, Maths and Creative Curriculum. If you are using the sample timetable, we would suggest doing the Literacy on Wednesday instead. Just see what you can manage.

There is something else that we wanted to share with you ...... 

We are so proud of the wonderful learning that you are doing at home, when you do wonderful learning in school, do you remember, you collect learning tickets. Well, the teachers in school were keen for this reward to continue whilst you are home schooling. In order to do this, we have created a simple chart below. If possible, please could you print off the chart and when the teachers award you learning tickets in their feedback, you can colour a smiley face on the chart. When you return to school we will ask you to bring in your chart and convert the smiley faces into real learning tickets. Mrs Lamond has said that once we all return we will have a big learning ticket draw! So, work hard and get collecting those tickets!
