ENGLISH

Today, we are beginning our work all about writing EXPLANATION TEXTS.

EXPLANATION TEXTS are pieces of writing that explain something.

They might tell you how or why something happens, or give information on how to do something.

Some examples are: information books or leaflets.

 

ACTIVITY

  • Read the power point below
  • Print off the EXPLANATION TEXT below and the checklist.
  • Find the different features on the checklist of the explanation text.
  • Use the colour code to show the faetures. 

 

MATHEMATICS

We are carrying on today from yesterday's first lesson all about PREIMETER.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Last week we learned about the Trinity - 3 in 1 - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. 

This we will link this with baptism of Jesus. Work through the powerpoint. The first slides prompt a disscussion about water and how it is used in baptism.
