We went for a forest school day full of exploration and investigation to Weston Park. The children had a brilliant time learning all about Baba Yaga! We learnt all about witches potions, natural medicines and even crafted our own Baba Yaga house. We also re-enacted parts of the story and then spent time in the amazing forest.
This week we completed our first Design & Technology assignment. We learnt how to make fruit kebabs through a process of tasting, designing, creating and evaluating. They looked great and tasted even better!!
What a wonderful day at the Exotic Zoo! We learnt all about animals from different groups and the habitats in which they live. We got to interact with lots of cool animals including mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians. We met Tia the skunk, Toothless the bearded dragon, BBQ the chicken, Charlie the tree frog and even got to handle some creepy giant millipedes!! After that we got to explore the zoo and complete Mr Smith's scavenger hunt. We had a truly memorable day!

We learnt all about witches potions, natural medicines and even crafted our own Baba Yaga house. We also re-enacted parts of the story and then spent time in the amazing EKO kids area.
We had an amazing time at Cadbury World and learnt all about how chocolate is made and where it comes from. The coco beans smelt amazing and we even got to take lots of chocolate home! Yum Yum....
As part of our 'Fantastic Food' topic, we used our D&T skills to design and make a delicious fruit kebab. We even got to eat them and they were scrumptious!!
