SWANS CLASS 2024 - 2025

WELCOME EVERYONE !

I hope you have all had a lovely summer break and are fresh and ready to start your new school year in Year 3.

We have lots of exciting things in store for you this year and we are looking forward to seeing you all next Wednesday. Below is some information for you and your parents which will help you to be ready next week.

First Day Back Information for Year 3 children:

• Come in to school through the hall doors

• Go into the Swans classroom and the teachers will be there to meet you. 

First Day Back Information for Year 3 parents (please note the following information will apply to the Y3 children. Other classes may have different arrangements).

• School starts back on Wednesday 4th September for pupils. The hall doors will open at 8.45am and close at 8.55am.

• Pupils will need a named pencil case with felt-tips or coloured pencils inside. Also a large glue stick. Teachers will provide any other equipment they may need. Only school pencil cases can be used for this or a clear plastic bag. The pencil cases can be purchased on parentpay and the teachers will give you it to you on the first day. 

• END OF DAY COLLECTION 3.15pm: Parents will need to wait outside the Swans classroom window so the teachers can see you through the window. Then, the teachers will dismiss your child safely, through the cloakroom door. If you would like to speak to one of us just give us a wave or send your back child in to let us know.  Once we have dismissed all the children we can be available to discuss any queries. In order to ensure children are dismissed safely, we ask that you do not come into the building until after dismissal, thank you.

• Contact with teachers can be made through the class email address: swans@stmarystchad.org. This is checked through the week however anything urgent must be emailed to the school office email.

• PE kits can be worn to school every Tuesday and Thursday. 

• PE KITS will be worn from WC: 09-09-24

HOMEWORK WILL START FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER.
