This week's news
Hummingbirds’ Sports Day
What a fantastic (and very hot!) time we had for our Hummingbirds Sports Day. Despite the heat, our little ones gave it their all and had a brilliant time. This was an early experience of Sports Day for many of our children as they prepare for Reception, and we couldn’t be prouder of how hard they all tried, from running races to fun games, everyone joined in with great enthusiasm and big smiles
Puffins Wedding
The Puffins wedding reenactment on Tuesday was absolutely amazing! The children were fantastic, and the whole event was a joyful celebration from start to finish. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special, from the beautiful church ceremony and professional photographer, to the fun-filled reception. Your support made it a truly memorable experience for the children. Don’t forget to check out the wonderful photos taken by Mr Beet from Shutter and Co. are now available on the Puffins page of our school website and can be purchased on Parentpay. Transition Day
A step towards September! On Wednesday, all our children took part in Transition Day, moving up to their new classrooms and meeting their teachers for September. It was a great opportunity for everyone to get a feel for what’s ahead and begin preparing for the exciting year to come. A special mention to Year 4, who spent the day at Brewood Middle Academy as part of their transition to middle school. They came back full of enthusiasm for their next chapter
Kingfishers visit the Exotic Zoo
On Thursday, Kingfishers had an exciting trip to the Exotic Zoo, where they saw a wide variety of animals, including some very unusual ones! They even had the chance to handle some of the creatures, which was a real highlight for them. The visit was a fantastic way to embed their science learning in a hands-on, memorable way. Important staff update
It is with great sadness to inform you that Mrs Williamson will be leaving our school at the end of this term. She has made an incredible contribution to the lives of so many of our children during her time with us. Her caring and nurturing nature, along with her unwavering dedication, will leave a lasting impact on our school community. She will be greatly missed by staff, pupils, and parents alike, and we know you will join us in wishing her all the very best in her next chapter
