It is really important for children to develop their mental recall skills and by the end of year 2 your child should be able to calculate mentally the following:

•    Multiplication & Division facts for the 2, 5 & 10 times tables.
•    Count in 3’s.
•    Add/Subtract near multiples of 10.
•    Double numbers up to 20
•    10 more & 10 less
•    Number bonds to 20
