We accept the following funding:
Universal 15 hours funding, Working parents 2 year old funding (15 hours per week), 3 & 4 year old additional "30 hours" funding and THINK2 funding, please see below:
Universal 15 hours funding - all children entitled to 15 hours funded care from the term after their 3rd birthday
30-hours additional funding - some working parents will be eligible for an additional 15 hours of funding (often called 30-hours funding)
2-year old working parents funding - some children will be eligible for 15 hours per week from the term after their 2nd birthday
Think-2 funding - if your child is 2 years old, you may be entitled to 15 hours ThinkTwo Funding. Please visit www.staffordshire.gov.uk/think 2 or telephone 0300 111 8007 for more information
Check your eligibility for funding at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. See the terms and conditions for more details or ring the school office. Funding cannot be used for wraparound care.
Hummingbirds nursery and wraparound care can be paid for securely using our Parentpay online school payment system, Childcare Vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare.
For the current academic year - September 2024 to July 2025
Pre-school places for children born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021 are now oversubscribed. We have filled all available places and are now operating a waiting list.
Afternoon places for children in our Rising-3s cohort (born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022) - we have a very limited number of places for January 2025 and Easter 2025 starters living within our School Catchment area
For Nursery places starting in September 2025 - priority places are allocated to children living within our school catchment area - for children outside our catchment area please see our Terms & Conditions or contact us.

If you are preparing to buy uniform for Hummingbirds, here is a visual reminder of what your child will need. Please clearly label all your child’s belongings with their name, preferably with a name sticker or sewn-in label.
