Welcome New Puffins!

We hope you have all had a lovely summer break and are fresh and ready to start the new school year in Year 1.

We have lots of exciting things in store for you this year and we are looking forward to seeing you all next Wednesday.

(Wednesday 4th September 2024).

Below is some information for you and your parents which help you to be ready for school next week.

First Day Back Information for Year 1 

Parents please be aware that these arrangements are for Year 1 children and may be different for children in other classes.

• School starts back on Wednesday 4th September for pupils.
• Children are to enter through the hall doors. These will be open at 8.45am and will close at 8.55am.
• Pupils will need a named school pencil case. For contents please click the tab below. The pencil cases can be purchased via parentpay and the teachers will give out any purchased on the first day back.
• END OF DAY COLLECTION 3.15pm. Please wait in single file along the fence outside the main school reception. The member of staff will then dismiss your child safely to you one at a time.
• PE kits can be worn to school every Monday and Friday starting on Friday 6th September 2024.

Happy Mothering Sunday

Puffins Wedding Day

The day finally arrived for our special class wedding. The guests were beautifully turned out and the service was lovely. A big thank you to Rev. Phil and the organist, Malc for making the day extra special and to Mr. and Mrs. Beet our fabulous photographers. 

Official photos and recording of the service will follow later. Here is a taster of what is to come.

Outdoor Learning

On Tuesday 8th December Puffins' class took part in their first 'Outdoor Learning' session of the year across at Brewood Middle School. The children had a fantastic time exploring, climbing, den building and toasting marshmallows around a campfire.

Rachel, our EKO leader, told them about safety and that they must:

Look after themselves

Look after each other

Look after nature

They all had a brilliant time and can't wait until the next session.
