This half term is always a very busy time for the Year 4 children. They are excited about their Leavers’ celebrations, end of year class party and excited for their move in September to their chosen middle school.
Please find below the information about our events which we hope you will be able to attend.
Leavers’ Show 2025 in the school hall: Tuesday 8th July
The Leavers’ Show will be a light-hearted show made up of acting, singing and dancing performed by the Year 4 children specially for Year 4 families.
Our Leavers’ Show performance will begin at 7pm on the evening of Tuesday 8th July.
On this day, the children take bring home any costumes they will be wearing for the performance and then they will need to return to school at 6.45pm that evening already dressed in their costume. Wigs will be put on at school for those that need one. Your child’s costume brief is below:
The hall will be laid out with tables and chairs, so you are welcome to bring along a drinks (don’t forget your glasses) and nibbles etc. We hope you all enjoy their performance.
There is a limit to 4 guests per Year 4 child to ensure enough room for all.
*Please let me know if your child will not be at the evening performance ASAP as it will have implications for the other children e.g. lines/songs etc.

Leavers’ Service 2025 at St Mary and St Chad Church: Tuesday 15th July
The Leavers’ Service is a more formal goodbye to Year 4. This will be held at St Mary & St Chad Church, Brewood, at 9.30am on Tuesday 15th July.
There will be awards and the children will be presented with a Bible.
Parents, Grandparents and friends of Year 4 are all welcome at the service. Pupils need to be in SCHOOL UNIFORM for this service and NOT PE KIT. There will be no PE on this day.
