We are designers
Our vision for Design and Technology is to strive to inspire all children in their designing and making skills. We will take inspiration from past and present designers, engineers and innovators to develop an appreciation of how these have impacted on daily life and the wider world. We encourage constructive self-reflection through opportunities to solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, whilst considering their own and others needs and values. Through rigorous and practical challenges, the children will learn how to take risks becoming resourceful, innovative, enterprising and capable citizens.
