Nativity Costume Letter 2025

Dear Parents/carers,

Your child will need a costume for our upcoming Christmas Nativity production. To help everyone prepare and promote sustainability, we will be holding a Nativity Costume Swap Shop on Wednesday 19th November, after school in the hall.

We’d love to encourage all families to take part rather than purchasing new costumes. This is a great opportunity to donate an outgrown costume and swap it for one that matches your child’s year group.

By reusing costumes, we can save money, reduce waste, and ensure every child is ready for this special event. We hope to see you there!

Your child will need a costume for our Christmas Nativity production.

She/he will need a costume suitable for:

A donkey

• Please also supply your child with a grey long-sleeved top and grey leggings or trousers with something to wear under their costume to keep them warm in the Church. They will also need black gloves, black socks and black footwear(pumps).

• No jeans or trainers please.

• A donkey head band will be made in school.

• Please could you make sure that her/his costume is in school by week beginning Monday 8^th December 2025 for dress rehearsals.

• Please could you send it to school labelled in a named carrier bag.
