This Weeks News and Notices

* Goodbye Mrs Nicholls!

We said a very fond farewell to Mrs. Nicholls today, who enjoyed her final day in Nursery before beginning her well earned retirement. Over the years, Mrs. Nicholls has been a calm, caring and patient presence within our Nursery team. Many children have passed through her care, thriving with her gentle support, encouragement and dedication. Her commitment to giving every child the best start has made a lasting difference, and she will be greatly missed by staff, children and families alike. We know you will join us in wishing Mrs. Nicholls all the very best as she begins this next chapter. We hope her future is filled with happiness, relaxation and exciting new adventures.

* 100% Attendance

Congratulations to 53 children who achieved 100% attendance for the Spring term. Well done!

* Wellbeing Day

On Wednesday, we enjoyed a fantastic Wellbeing Day, giving all children the chance to pause, reflect and connect with themselves and others. Throughout the day, pupils immersed themselves in activities designed to explore emotions, nurture mental health, deepen spirituality and strengthen social skills. From calming mindfulness sessions to creative emotional expression, collaborative games and reflective moments, every activity encouraged children to recognise their feelings, support one another and build confidence in a safe, positive environment.

* Easter Celebrations

We were feeling very festive on Thursday as the children took part in our Easter parade and a range of seasonal activities. They looked absolutely amazing in their Easter bonnets, so colourful, creative and full of personality! A huge thank you to everyone who supported in making this such a wonderful experience for the children. Your time, effort and enthusiasm made the day truly special, and the children had a fantastic time celebrating together. Wishing you all a lovely Easter season.

* Our New Parent Governor

We are pleased to announce that, following the recent ballot for a new Parent Governor, Miss Gemma Pate was successful. She will be joining our Local Governing Committee from next term.

We look forward to welcoming Miss Pate to the team and working together to continue supporting the school community. Thank you to everyone who took part in the voting process.

Prayer of the Week

Dear Lord,

As we celebrate Easter, we thank you for the joy, hope and new beginnings this season brings.
Bless our children, families and school community with peace, kindness, and love.
May we carry the message of Easter in our hearts, sharing compassion,

caring for one another, and finding joy in each new day.
Amen
