* Kingfishers Trip to Weston Park

Kingfishers enjoyed a truly wonderful day of outdoor learning during their visit to Weston Park on Wednesday. The children were fully immersed in nature as they explored links to their current story, Baba Yaga, bringing the tale to life through hands-on activities and imaginative storytelling in the woodland setting. It was a great day from start to finish, and the Kingfishers showed fantastic enthusiasm, curiosity, and resilience during their outdoor adventures. A special thank you to all the parents who helped organise the transportation of the children to and from the site, your support made the day possible, and we truly appreciate it. 

* Mothers Day Service

Thank you for joining us for our Mother’s Day service in church on Thursday. We hope you enjoyed the celebration and that it was a special moment for all of our families. A big thank you to the PTFA for kindly providing drinks and helping to make the event feel warm and welcoming. 

* Our Ducklings Arrival!

On Monday, we took delivery of five duckling eggs, and the children waited patiently and excitedly for them to hatch. Their patience was rewarded on Thursday when the final egg cracked open, and we were delighted to welcome five beautiful baby ducklings into our school. It has been an amazing experience for both the children and staff, watching the ducklings take their very first steps and begin exploring their new world. The excitement in school has been wonderful to see! 

Next week, we are looking forward to two very special moments, watching the ducklings enjoy their first swim and giving the children the opportunity to hold them gently, helping them learn about care, responsibility and the wonders of new life. 

* Doves After-School Clubs

Doves children are invited to join the following clubs after Easter - Football Club on Monday's, Dance Club on Tuesday's, Tennis Club on Wednesday's, Rugby Club on Thursday's and Girl's Football Club on Friday's. Click on the links for information and to register your child.
