This Weeks News and Notices

*  This week has been another busy week in school. It began on Sunday when two of our Year 4 pupils represented the school at the Remembrance Parade. On Tuesday, we had a minute’s silence as a whole school community. Swans completed their rearranged visit to Weston Park and experienced what it would be like to live in the Stone Age. The week ended with a fun day raising money for Children in Need. We are pleased to announce that we raised £334.40 for this worthwhile cause. Also, on Friday, we will be enjoying Movie and Munch as organised by PTFA. Thank you for all the parent’s efforts arranging this event. Photos of these events can be found on the school website

*  Next week, we will be sending out the letters about what the children will need to wear for our nativity service. On Wednesday, there will be a Christmas Costume Swap Shop so if you would like to donate or purchase a costume then please come along. *  Our Children in Need Reading Challenge was a brilliant success, bringing together a love of books and a spirit of giving. A total of 73 children took part, each choosing their own bear-themed books to read. From classic stories to new adventures, the range of bear books explored was truly amazing! Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and generosity, we are proud to announce that the challenge raised £146 for Children in Need. This fantastic achievement shows what we can accomplish when we work together. Well done to all our readers, you should be very proud! These are the winning children -
