This Weeks News and Notices
* Colour Run
A huge thank you to our wonderful PTFA for organising a very successful Colour Run last Friday and raising an amazing total of £2105. It was a fantastic event, full of energy and laughter and the children certainly looked extremely colourful by the time they had finished! As this was the first time we have held a Colour Run, we are delighted with how well it was received and hope it will become a regular feature in our school calendar. Photos from the event are now available to view on our school website.

* Sports Day
We are pleased to invite you to our Sports Day, which will take place on Wednesday 8th July at 9.30am on the Middle School field. Parents are warmly invited to attend and enjoy watching their children take part in a range of races and activities. The PTFA will be serving refreshments and you are welcome to stay afterwards for a picnic lunch following the morning’s events back at school. the children will return to lessons in the afternoon.
* Fishing for Families
Good luck to the children representing our school in a fishing competition today.
* Swans trip to the Wolseley Centre
This week, Swans class visited a local wildlife centre, where they learned about different animals and their habitats. The children especially enjoyed seeing the animals up close and listening to the informative talks. It was a fun and educational day that inspired everyone to care more about wildlife and the environment. Click here for the photographs.
* Nursery and Doves Pirate Day
On Wednesday 8th July, Nursery and Doves children can dress as a pirate for shared activities. No onesies please - wear trainers with your pirate outfit suitable for outside play. No plastic swords or hooks. No need to buy a pirate costume, homemade is great - stripy tops & shorts or leggings, an eyepatch, a hat - be creative!
* Keeping Children Safe Online
Keeping children safe online is more important than ever. The NSPCC is offering a free NSPCC Online Safety Virtual Workshop designed to help parents and carers understand the risks children may face online and how to support them effectively. The session covers practical advice, guidance on popular apps and games, and tips for starting positive conversations about online safety at home. We encourage all parents and carers to take advantage of this valuable resource.
