Following last weeks lesson on creating paper collages in the style of Henri Matisse, we will be using TESSELLATION this week to create pattern.
Watch the two short videos below and then, choose from one (or more than one if you like) of the art activities below.
- create a tessellating pattern like the one in the video from card or colour paper.
- go out into the garden and find a tessellating pattern and make a rubbing of it using paper and chalk or crayons or even a rubbing onto foil.
- get out your LEGO and create a LEGO TESSELLATION.
