This week we will be completing some phonic assessments. The children will complete practical activities to check for quick recall of all of the sounds that they have covered so far in phonics. We will also see if the children are able to form all of these letters correctly, including writing digraphs and trigraphs in a joined style. Next we will work on blending words for reading and segmenting words for writing. In addition we will look at reading and spelling tricky words that they have covered so far.
