As we enter into the Summer term at nursery we start to think about what comes next. Our Rising 3 children move to preschool and the preschool children move to our Reception class called Doves.
The transition into full time school life has already started at Hummingbirds this year. We have weekly story sessions with our Reception class teachers and support staff. They share a story and get to know the children.
Our children that stay for a full day at nursery enjoy their lunchtime meal in the school hall, alongside the other school children and staff.
Preschool children join in with whole school worship and songs and praise.
We also enjoy joining in with whole school celebrations such as Harvest Festival, Christmas and the Coronation.
