AIM HIGH BELIEVE, FLY HIGH ACHIEVE

Wednesday 26th January

DAILY EXPECTED WORK:

20 minutes reading and 20 minutes practicing times tables ( maybe on TT ROCKSTARS)

SCIENCE: States of Matter investigation

We're starting the day by setting up an investigation to prove that EVAPORATION has taken place. If you are doing this investigation at home, you will need the day to complete the investigation.

Watch the video below explaining EVAPORATION.

Now, read the power point below.

When you have finished, can you plan and do the tea towel investigation yourself at home. If this is tricky for you ( as you may need some help) then, try to answer as many questions as you can, down to Question 5.

ENGLISH

WALT: use the 7 rules of speech.

Listen to CHAPTER 2 of our Iron Man story on the video below but only listen up to 2.29sec.

At the beginning of this chapter, a young boy named Hogarth comes face to face with the Iron Man as he returns from the sea. Hogarth, runs home and tells his parents what he has seen.

In the book, very little DIRECT SPEECH is used in this part of the text.

Watch the video below and learn how to divide with remainders.
