Today we would like you to recap on quick recall of all of the sounds and the corresponding actions that we have covered so far - s, a, t, p, i, n, m, d, g, o, c, k, ck, e, u, r, h, b, f, f, l, ll, ss, j, v, w, x, y, z, qu, sh, ch, th, ng, ai, ee, igh, oa, oo, ar, or, ur, ow, oi, ear, air, ure, er.

 

Next you could kindly ask an adult to write out the following words - thing, short, arch, longer, thicker, shing, chort, arth, ponger, zicker. See if you can sort these words into those which are real and those which are nonsense. Remember to spot any digraphs and trigraphs!

 

Finally we would like you to look at the farmyard scene picture which is attached below. See if you can think of some sentences, remember to say them aloud to check that they make sense. Next you could have a go at writing some sentences to match the scenes. See if you can include any of the following words: cow goat duck chicken farmer.
