EKO Trip
The children had great fun taking part in our EKO (Educating Kids Outdoors) Day. We visited the designated outdoor area at Brewood Middle School and took part in a day focused on promoting literacy outdoors linked to our work on the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. The children listened to the story and we acted it out using props. They rotated around lots of fun activities including water play, mud kitchen, bug hunting and den building. In groups they made large grass caterpillars and individual sock caterpillars. We also tasted lots of food from the story - Yummy! To finish we played '1, 2, 3 Where Are You?'. We were very proud of the children and we all had lots of fun!
