This week the children have been learning to spell the tricky words - the and to. They have also been learning to read the words - we, me, he, she and be. See if you can find any of these tricky words in your reading books or other books at home.
We have also been learning the new digraphs (two letters which make one sound) - sh, ch and th/th. Please note that 'th' makes both a long and short sound e.g. them/think. See if you can quickly recall each sound, the corresponding action and also work on the correct letter formation in a joined style.
