This week we will be revisiting and reinforcing the phonemes covered so far within Phase 2. We will work on blending and segmenting CVC words.
The children will each be assessed individually, in a practical and fun way, so that their next steps can be identified.
Below you will find a choice of activities that you may like to complete. These tasks support the work that we will be doing in school. You can use the flash cards for quick recall of the sound and action. You could also use these cards to support formation or maybe print out two sets and play bingo or matching pairs. The other sheets support blending and segmenting. Encourage the children to work as independently as possible.
