The Jungle

We have been learning all about 'The Jungle'. We have discovered lots of interesting facts and have enjoyed sharing these in class. We have learnt all about the artist Henri Rousseau and looked in detail at some of his artwork. We focused on one of his famous pieces called 'Tiger in the Tropical Storm'. The children created their own versions. They started by drawing their favourite animals using pastels, then added jungle leaves and vines. Next we used poly tiles and rollers to print extra leaves to hide our animals. Finally we added collage materials and some 3d effects to create our final pieces. We are so proud of them.
