Yesterday's work will need completing before today's learning can be done.

WALT: write our own animal poem using the same rhythm and format as THE EAGLE.

ACTIVITY 1

Read the poem that I have written below using a different animal, but the same rhythm and format as THE EAGLE.

ACTIVITY 2

Now, decide on an animal or bird that you would like to write your poem about and follow the same format.

There is a worksheet below to help you.

When you have finished, copy our your poem neatly in your handwriting.

Mrs Jackman's Poem: THE SNAKE

He stalks the jungle with beady eyes,

Close to the ground in slippery lies.

Ring'd with the Amazon world he glides.

The jungle floor beneath him hides,

He waits from his hole unseen,

And like an arrow he slides.

MATHEMATICS

We are continuing with multiplying 3 numbers together.

Look at the activity sheet and choose the challenge you would like to complete. Green is less challenging than red and purple.

The answers are also attached.
