Today you can start by singing the alphabet song. See if you can find a corresponding flashcard for each sound as you say it.
Next we would like you to play 'Soundbuttons'. See if a grown up can write out the words - mess, fat, bun, boss, back, hop, cuff, dull, sell - for you. Now see if you can add the sound buttons and read the words. Don't forget to draw sound buttons under each phoneme and look out for those digraphs and put a line underneath.
Finally we would like you to have a go at blending and reading the sentences on the sheet below. You can still use sound buttons and also look out for those tricky words, remember to put a circle around them!
