This week the hedgehog group children have been completing 1:1 phonic checks. They will be assessed practically on their knowledge of the phase 2 phonemes, oral blending and segmenting of CVC words. The children will be working on practical phonics activities. Below you will find a useful sound and tricky word mat for reference and also a sheet to continue to work on the formation of each sound. Once complete, see if your child can have a go at forming each of the sounds independently and correctly on a blank piece of paper.
